My suggestion is to start off as a shared experience first. The main reasons for this include: ; 1. It is manageable for the teacher in terms of monitoring?  2. B 0 8 _ m     I am lucky in that I have a class who have high internet access, plus they each have their own firstclass.com user account. This is a monitored system which is internal and provides a safe environment for the kids to learn. It also makes it very easy to establish blogger/youtube/delicious/etc. accounts with the children.  % - If you don't have high access to the internet, or email addresses to children, I suggest you consider mixing online tools with offline tools. Here are some ideas: J Establish a system for file organisation with your class on your network.   Tools which could be used:  -PowerPoint  -Inspiration@ -most word processors allow hyperlinks to be made to other files  If you are using offline tools to build up learning portfolios, then keep all files in the same folder! Therefore it is important to consider giving a choice of mediums with which to share learning.
